Current Situation


Oman is located in the Middle East. Oman bordered by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen. Oman's economy is largely based around oil. However the government has put in place projects and plans in order to diversify the economy and develop jobs in other sectors, notably in the mining sector.

(2014) Oman's economy continues to grow at a steady rate, however the government is making efforts to diversify and reduce the dependence the economy has for oil.
