Current Situation

The Netherlands are located in Western Europe. The Netherlands are bordered by Belgium and Germany. The Netherlands' economy is very advanced and includes many large multinational companies such as: Royal Dutch Shell, Philips, Unilever and Heineken. The government tries to maintain inflation at a very low level and unemployment is also very low.

(2014) The Netherlands' economy continued to shrink in 2013 much like the rest of the euro zone. Growth is expected to return to the Netherlands in 2014.
