Filip Vujanovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1954. Filip Vujanovic is the current President of Montenegro. Filip Vujanovic studied law at the University of Belgrade. Filip Vujanovic worked as a lawyer before joining politics in 1993. Filip Vujanovic became Montenegro's first prime minister in 1998 and served until 2003. He won the presidential elections in 2003 and was re-elected in 2008. Filip Vujanovic is also the first president of the new independent nation of Montenegro.

Igor Luksic was born in Bar, Montenegro, in 1976. Igor Luksic is the current Prime Minister of Montenegro. Igor Luksic studied at the University of Montenegro where he obtained a Ph.D. in economics. Igor Luksic began his career in politics in 2001 when he was elected to the Parliament of Montenegro. Eventually he would serve as the Finance Minister of Montenegro and Montenegro's Deputy Prime Minister. Igor Luksic succeeded Milo Dukanovic as Montenegro's Prime Minister following the latter's resignation. Luksic subsequently won the 2010 elections.
