Current Situation

 

Moldova is located in Eastern Europe. Moldova is bordered by Romaine and Ukraine. Moldova has one of the lowest GDP's per capita in Europe. Moldova has little natural resources and must import all of its petroleum, natural gas and other energy products. Agriculture is the biggest sector, with a notable wine industry.

(2013) Moldova's economic growth has slowed considerably in large part due to the slowdown in the euro region.

(2014) Moldova's economy has rebounded with strong growth in 2013.
