Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg was born in Betzdorf Castle, Luxembourg, in 1955. He is the current Grand Duke of Luxembourg, which makes him the Head of State of Luxembourg. He studied at the University of Geneva, and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he also studied in France. He became Grand Duke in 2000, when he succeeded his father Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg.

Xavier Bettel studied at Nancy 2 University and also the Aristotle University in Greece. Xavier Bettel joined politics in 1999 he has been involved in national and municipal politics ever since. Xavier Bettel was elected as the Mayor of Luxembourg in 2011. Following the 2013 Parliamentary elections his party came in third place but he was still asked by the Grand Duke Henri to form a coalition for the next government.

Jean-Claude Juncker was born in Redange, Luxembourg, in 1954. He is the current Prime Minister of Luxembourg. He studied in Luxembourg and in France at the University of Strasbourg. He joined politics in 1984, first becoming Minister of Labour, when he was re-elected in 1989 he also took on the role of Minister of Finance. He succeeded Jacques Santer as prime minister in 1995. He has been prime minister continuously since 1995.
