Current Situation

Japan is located in East Asia. Japan shares sea borders with many Asian countries. Japan is one of the leading economic powers of the world. Japan is a leader in technology, robotics and machinery. (2013) Japan has recently introduced aggresive measures of monetary easing in order to boost economic growth and end deflation.

(2014) Despite the government of Japan's best efforts to boost the economy growth was relatively modest at 2% in 2013 and should continue around this rate in 2014. More reforms appear to be on the way and it remains to be seen if they will have any impact on the economy.
