Xi Jinping was born in Beijing, China, in 1953. Xi Jinping is the current president of the People's Republic of China. He attended Beijing's Tsinghua University and obtained a degree in engineering, he also obtained Doctor of Laws degree from the same university. Xi Jinping joined the Communist Youth League in 1971 and finally the Communist Party of China in 1974.

Xi Jinping rose through the ranks and eventually became the Governor of Fujian. Xi Jinping held many high ranking posts before being named Vice-President of China in 2008. This would lead to him being elected President of China in 2013 by the 12th National People's Congress.

Li Keqiang was born in Dingyan County, China, in 1955. Li Keqiang is the current Premier of the People's Republic of China. Li Keqiang holds a law degree from Peking University, he also obtained a PhD in economics from the same university.

Li Keqiang joined the Communist Youth League during his time in university and eventually became it's secretary at Peking University, he ultimately became it's General Secretary in 1993 until 1998. Li Keqiang became the governor of Henan in 1998 he held several other major posts until eventually being named the next Premier of the People's Republic of China in March 2013.

Hu Jintao was born in Jiangyan, China, in 1942. Hu Jintao was the president of the People's Republic of China. Hu Jintao attended Beijing's Tsinghua University and obtained a degree in engineering. During his university years he joined the Communist Party of China, and eventually held several key posts including high level assignments as the Communist Party's Committee Secretary in Guizhou province and also in the province of Tibet. In 1992 he was named to the Politburo Standing Committee, and was the youngest person ever named to this group of seven all powerful members.


Hu Jintao was named vice-President of China in 1998. he was also named Party General Secretary in 2002. He was eventually named president in 2003. Hu Jintao was replaced as the President of China in 2013 by Xi Jinping.

Wen Jiabao was born in Beichin, China, in 1942. Wen Jiabao was the Premier of the People's Republic of China. Wen Jiabao holds a postgraduate degree in geology from the Beijing Institute of Geology. Jiabao joined the Communist Party of China in 1965, and held several high level posts before becoming vice-premier in 1998, in charge of agricultural, financial and environmental policies.

Wen Jiabao was eventually named to the Politburo Standing Committee in 2002, and named premier in 2003. Wen Jiabao is also very popular due to his style has a 'people's premier'. Wen Jiabao was replaced as the Premier of China in 2013 by Li Keqiang.
