Mladen Ivanic was born in Sanski Most, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1958. Mladen Ivanic is the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and currently the Chairman of the Presidency. Mladen Ivanic studied at the University of Banja Luka and also at the University of Belgrade.


Mladen Ivanic has had a long career in the politics of the modern state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, notably he has served as the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska and also as the Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mladen Ivanic joined the Presidency Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina in November 2014.

Dragan Covic joined the Croatian Democratic Union party in 1994. Dragan Covic served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1998 until 2001 and also as the Minister of Finance. Dragan Covic served as a member of Bosnia's presidency from 2002 until 2005, a position to which he was again elected in November 2014.

Zeljko Komsic was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1964. Zeljko Komsic is the Croatian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Komsic obtained a law degree from the University of Sarajevo, and he also studied at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. During the Bosnian War he served as part of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a decorated war hero.


Following the war he began his career in politics first by sitting on the city councils for Sarajevo and Novo Sarajevo. At this time he also joined the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina. When his party came to power in 1998, he was named as the ambassador to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, now broken up into Serbia, Kosovo and Montenegro. Zeljko Komsic is less popular with nationalist Croats, as he does not play into their rhetoric and refuses to create divisions inside the fragile harmony in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Haris Silajdzic was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1945. Haris Silajdzic is the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Haris Silajdzic has a degree in Arabic language and Islamic studies that he obtained in Libya. Haris Silajdzic also holds a PhD in International Relations or rather American-Albanian relations.


Haris Silajdzic, served as the foreign minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1990 to 1993. He became the Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1993 until 1996. He was a leading player in negotiating the Dayton Accords that ultimately ended the Bosnian War. However he remains a harsh critic of the atrocities committed during the war, and is not afraid of calling out inaction in prosecuting the culprits.
