Current Situation

 

Benin is located in western Africa, Benin is bordered by Togo, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Niger. The economy is largely underdeveloped, and consists of subsistence farming. The growth rate is steady however the current electrical supply is insufficient to support growth, the government is currently taking steps to correct this and improve other infrastructure. (2014) Benin's economy continues to grow steadily however a third of the population continue to live on 1$ per day.
